You’ve just just barely started dating someone (eekarewecallingthatdating?) and it has just been Valentine’s day (barf) and it is about to be their birthday, and you should probably get them something small but what is both thoughtful and incidental enough that you don’t look like a crazy person?
My answer is always a book, but I’m wrong a lot of the time too.
